Yolanda Mason, Elena Mason and Patricia Read
Elena Mason was born in Las Vegas and led a nomadic life from New Mexico to northern BC and Alberta before setting on Quadra Island in 1983. With a degree in Education and a minor in Art, she has explored many crafts and media. Elena expresses her love of colour through her glass mosaics which have found homes as far away as Japan, England and the US as well as locally.

Growing up in Northern BC and Alberta, Yolanda Mason was a child of the forest nurturing lifelong pleasures of foraging, rock-picking and gardener combining her found natural materials with scissors, books and Plasticine. After a career in photographic printing Yolanda has returned to her roots - sticks and bones - assembling them with found organic matter to create sculptures both real and imagined.
I am strongly connected to the natural world and hope others see the value of Nature through my art.”
