Don Heald

Don takes pleasure in harvesting terminal trees from his property, mostly big leaf maple. Through the stages of milling and drying, Don forms the concepts that are skillfully shaped into functional art for the home.

"I very much enjoy holding or just admiring the beautiful patterns and colours that nature produces in wood and to be able to save it from the firebox or inevitable forest rot, and recycle it in a way that may please others for perhaps many years to come."
