Richard has been drawing and painting since childhood, but is was not until he began to study with noted print-maker Sybil Andrews that he started to see art as an integral part of his life. Under her influence he learnt the importance of drawing, painting and the effect of colour and tone that is the basic of fine art print. Richard has been making lino cut and wood block prints since 1992. He is working full time producing four to five prints a year. - Richard's work can be viewed at "Grasshopper Gallery" on Quadra Island.
