Christine Walsh

Christine Walsh has explored a variety of mediums, but has always been particularly drawn to woodworking. To further explore and develop these skills she completed the Joinery / Furniture Design program at NIC in 2019. Her recently built woodworking studio sits adjacent to a lush forest and her small hobby farm on Quadra Island.
I enjoy taking items that are used in daily life and beautifying them, allowing people to truly appreciate the items they surround themselves with. I find my inspiration from the natural beauty that we enjoy on Quadra Island. Each item that comes out of my woodworking shop is thoughtfully and carefully hand crafted.
